It was never your intention to need organizing help!
You didn’t move into your house and think, “Wow, there is so much room in here for us to fill with piles and piles of stuff with no rhyme or reason.”
I know. And you are not alone!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that life is CRAZY! With 10-hour days at the office, kids running around like circus animals, grocery shopping, dishes, laundry, bath time, meal time, bed time, and if you’re among the luckiest of us, quiet time, it can be very easy to let tidiness and organization get away from you.
There is absolutely no shame in skipping a day of picking up the playroom. Or skipping 2 days. Or 3… you get the idea.
Eventually, though, the added relaxation and de-stressing achieved from skipping those non-life-threatening responsibilities is negated by the compounding stress and anxiety that results in coming home to a disorganized mess.
Not to mention the extra time spent in the morning looking for shoes, socks, gloves, hats, etc. And don’t forget all the food tucked away in the back of the pantry and the fridge that looks like a losing, or maybe winning, science fair project. It’s time to suck it up and tackle the lack of organization problem once and for all. But please don’t go it alone!
I know it seems overwhelming, and frankly maddening because you “just cleaned up this mess yesterday!”
I can help get you started with organizing help, do most of the heavy lifting, or if you need, I can make your house look like it belongs on one of those home renovation shows.
